The Papers of the Bibliographical Society of America (PBSA) is the Society’s distinguished quarterly journal; it has been an important avenue for scholarly communication on bibliographical matters since 1906. PBSA publishes articles on book and manuscript production, publication, distribution, collecting, and reading in all periods, geographical regions, and media, as well as editorial and textual scholarship across all disciplines. The journal publishes original articles, book reviews, bibliographical notes, and review essays.

Access PBSA Online in multiple digital formats

Members have the option to receive the journal in print at no extra cost and can access the full archive of PBSA online, anytime. In addition to downloadable PDFs and HTML access to articles, BSA members also have exclusive access to the e-Book edition of this issue, which can be downloaded as an EPUB or MOBI file and read on an iPad, iPhone, Nook, Kindle, Android, or computer—even when the device is not connected to the internet.
