The Annual Fund

The BSA Annual fund supports the mission and work of the Society overall and helps us to secure a vibrant future for the study of the material text through fellowships, events, and publications. Please consider helping us to grow by making a contribution to our Annual Fund.

The $21,000 in 2021 Matching Challenge

This is a special year for the BSA Annual Fund. A group of Council members has banded together to offer a $21,000 matching grant challenge for 2021! Help us to earn that matching gift by making your donation today.

We need your participation to meet our goal of $21,000 in ’21. This is a dollar-for-dollar match on every donation made through December 31, 2020, doubling the impact of every gift. Gifts of any amount to BSA matter.

Our Annual Fund supports the free, accessible programs that have kept people engaged in bibliography through the pandemic. This makes a difference to our bibliographical community. After our roundtable celebrating Dorothy Porter’s “Early Negro Writings at 75,” an attendee wrote us saying, “I appreciate that webinar was free to attend. In the wake of COVID-19 budget cuts, my institution’s funding for professional development has been cut.” Keeping our programs free and open to all makes a difference.

Gifts in any amount have an impact and help us to serve both established and emerging bibliographers. We thank you for your ongoing support of bibliographical study, and the BSA.
