The Bibliographical Society of America is excited to announce our ‘2025 Spring Sprint,’ a new fundraising initiative aimed at raising $15,000 by July 1st. This crucial effort will directly support the administration of our fellowship program, fund critical community-driven events, and fuel the work of over 75 volunteers who work to realize our mission.

This year has been exceptional for the BSA, marked by significant growth in membership and unprecedented support for our annual meeting. This momentum underscores the vital role the Society plays in advancing the study of books and bibliography. Scroll down to explore this season’s exciting offerings: a special virtual event featuring BSA Dorothy Porter Wesley Fellow Katie Mitchell (owner, Good Books ATL) and Alvin Patrick (CBS News) on 12 May, and a limited edition tote to thank donors of $125 or more. Join us to celebrate our bibliographical community and make sure we have the resources we need to do what we do!

Fuel the future of bibliography: give now! ↑

In these uncertain economic times, your contribution is more important than ever. While our endowment provides a strong foundation, fundraisers like this are crucial to ensuring we can continue empowering researchers, building community around the book, and keeping our projects thriving.

Ways to give:

Give $125, get a limited edition tote bag as our thank you for your gift! ↑

Tell the world you’re a bibliographer with a limited-edition tote bag when you donate $125 or more! Your generous, tax-deductible donation by 1 July will help the BSA award more than $40,000 in Fellowship awards this season and reach our $15,000 fundraising goal for the third quarter.

Why $125? It’s the average gift we received last year, demonstrating the collective power of our community. By maintaining this level of support, we can ensure the continuation of our vital programs. Your contribution, no matter the size, makes a significant impact, but gifts of $125 or more unlock this special thank-you gift. Join us in making a difference this spring!
